I know I'm back at the eyes. You have heard of the saying the eyes are the windows to the soul. It is what people look at when they talk to you. So I suppose that is why I am always "focused" on the eyes. This product I use under my mascara. I have long lashes, however they are baby fine. Much like my hair I have a lot of it just it is fine. This gives me a carpet of lashes. It doesn't change the properties of my 2 favorite mascara's listed on this site. It enhances them. I buy this from Macy's and I have the best consultant there, willing to help all of you. Amy Goldsmith She can be reached at Macy's at 303-566-6317 or her email is amymichelle26@hotmail.com

Shine Booster for Hair
A great inexpensive do-it-yourself.
1/4 cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (it's not just for cooking) more for longer hair.
Starting at the roots brush the natural, pure oil through hair and leave on for an hour. Blow dry on medium to high heat for no more than 5 minutes, concentrating more on the ends to help the oil penetrate deeper. Add shampoo to strands prior to water to help cut the oil faster. Shampoo as usual and admire your shiny healthy locks.
they're Real! Mascara by benefit. I received an email from Sephora with a link to an ad for it which was hilarious. Decided to try it and it is amazing. Makes my lashes look longer and fuller, like I am wearing "falsies" . It didn't flake off either. I give it 9 out of 10 points, it would get a 10 if it were waterproof. That being said, when I

need my waterproof mascara I will still be using Blinc, the tubular mascara, also found at Sephora.

URBAN DECAY EYESHADOW PRIMER POTION
I discovered this a couple of years ago and am I glad. Prior to using this my eyeshadow would stay on an hour at the most. Since using this it stays on all day. One of my daughters, who will remain nameless as she sleeps in her makeup a lot ( and this is a big no-no) says that it still looks good in the morning. You can find this at Sephora or urbandecay.com
Time to take care of our hair! The sun is brutal on it. I love this do-it-yourself conditioning mask, and perfect for summer time when avocado's are at a good price. What I noticed too when I use this is my hair gets full of body. Make sure you have a couple of free hours as it takes time to harden.
In a medium bowl take 1 very large very ripe avocado and mash well. Add an egg, a half cup of honey and an 1/8 cup of olive oil. Mix well and put on entire head. Leave on for an hour or so until hard. Wash out with shampoo, I also condition too, but I have very dry hair.
Your locks will love you.
I have moved on from lips and am real excited about a fairly new product in the market place. Shellac by CNDtbeggleston@hotmail.com Below is a picture I took after almost a week after Tiffany gave me the mani still looks great!

Artistry by Amway in Glitz |
www.amway.com/shannonsshop It comes in 3 shades, my fave for summer is Glitz a pink shade. Although I also wear Glamour a red shade for evening.
Okay my fave and lifesaver this week is the Lip Balm from La Mer. I got extremely dehydrated and sunburned from going to the zoo. My lips were sunburned and chapped. I only used it for 1 day applied only twice and my lips were back to normal. A little pricey ($40) but a little went a long way.
Sephora.
Need a quick, inexpensive lipstain. Kool-Aid, that's right it's not just for kids. Mix a little bit of Kool-Aid with water. Use a cotton swab to apply to your lips. Be careful not to get on your hands, remember it stains, which also means will stay on your lips all day, great to use as a base.
