ACCESSORIES!!!!!!! No better way then to move your fall wardrobe to winter! And you don't have to break the bank to do it! As previously posted The Hunter Wellington's are a versatile boot and so fashionable with many colors and styles to choose. I love my wedge ones! Now they have socks. This is not only form, but function as well (they keep your feet nice and warm) It also gives a little added oomph to your wardrobe. Also, tights are so hot this season and what better way to keep your legs warm, the lace patterns are so fashion forward, and again not a budget breaker. Gives a change to your wardrobe and keeps change in your purse!

THE WRAP DRESS As I promised on my post , here it is. The original on the left is by none other than Diane von Furstenberg herself. This is in her Fall 2011 collection and can be found at Nordstrom's as well as other fine retailers. Also found at Nordstrom's is the Calvin Klein version in a plus size. As you can see, both body types look fantastic in this dress. The Wrap Dress is super hot this season. We can see why that is it looks great, its comfortable and it comes in a wide variety of prints and solids. To wear at work I casual it down a bit and wear a camisole under, it also covers up some of the sexy cleavage not meant for an office environment.
MENSWEAR It is in for fall and this cute little bootie pictured at right works in beautiful. The "Clue" by Seychelles available at Nordstroms. You can wear this style, this fall with skirts, slacks and jeans. It is very versatile and cute. A staple for this seasons wardrobe.
MISSONI TEAMING WITH TARGET Starting on September 13 Targets featured fashion designer is Missoni. I can hardly wait. The dress pictured on the left runs around $800. Target will have a similar one from what I can tell around $60. Finally, I will be able to add Missoni to my wardrobe. They will have accessories, men's, children's and home accessorise too. Prices ranging from 2.99 - $599. This is good, I will be there on the 13th when the store opens to have a full selection, I would imagine this will go fast.
PYTHON IS IN FOR NOW & FALL and you do not wear it head to toe only 1 piece. I go for a belt or pumps. The pumps are so versatile. They can be worn with jeans, slacks, skirts and dresses. Dress them up or dress them down. Everyone is making them, to the left is a pair of Calvin Klein. Lower on the right is Christian Louboutin. Calvin $100 Louboutin $1200. They don't look too different. I would love the Louboutin's, however in this economy.......it is a beautiful shoe, though. Michael Kors also makes one with a lower heel which is just as fabulous. Like I said you only wear 1 python piece at a time. You can have multiple pieces in your closet. I have a python bag from last fall that I will be using again.

CAPES FOR FALL I just love the fall and I love the warmth of the colors and the clothing. Capes are in BIG time, but they are not the capes of yesteryear they are a bit more form fitting, classic lines and some leather detail like the Mackage Cape shown here. Worn with a skinny black jean for weekend casual or a slim skirt and silk blouse for the office, this piece can get worn quite a bit this season without looking old.
HUNTER PLATFORM WELLIES.......... I am so excited that we have had so much rain of late. These wellies ( I have them in cranberry as shown but they come in black and gray too) are comfortable, fashionable and functional. As sloppy as it has been outside I have been wearing these and getting complements. The are made of rubber and can just be rinsed off. Come fall I think they will look really cute with a knee length skirt and tights!
THE BERMUDA SHORT.........I can't believe I am really liking the look. Being that I am vertically challenged and have real short legs I couldn't believe they would look good. You have to keep them above the knee. I wear a wedge with it, doing that makes my legs appear longer. I pair it with a tank and a belted short sleeve cardigan. It is a perfect work outfit for casual Fridays.
THE MAXI DRESS Ahhh I remember the 70's I was in grade school and I LOVED long dresses. The Maxi dress is back. Reminds me of the dresses I loved when I was a child. Nice and flowing, great for someone like me who doesn't want to show her blinding white calves and those thighs. I have one similar to this one by OneWorld. I liked this design as the straps were wider and has button detail on the front. I will probably wear it at least once a week it is so comfortable and elegant.
This next item is great and gives me the "why didn't I think of that moment" My friend Becky sells these items. Bra straps that are meant to be shown, we all have those outfits that you really need to wear a bra but can't keep the straps from showing, well check out her website there are so many to choose from and this picture doesn't really do it justice. www.shouldercandies.comI am pleased as punch to have wide leg pants back, they are so slimming on most any body type! I got me these in a silk. Paired with a silk wrap sleeveless top nice for summer evenings. If it gets a little cool top with a short sleeve cardigan.
What do theses 3 items have in common? They look great paired together! Leave the jacket open. Michael Kors knows how to design, I LOVE HIM! and his belt is fun! The rhinestone closure in the middle can be moved to look "diamond" shaped instead of "square" Pair with some strappy beige sandals and you are set. Can work for office, with a quick change to some glitzier jewelry and remove the jacket and you have a fun evening look, too! Perfect!

These 2 items are a great staple to have. The "in" color for Spring and Summer. Both by Michael Michael Kors. I love his designs. He really knows how to style and fit a woman. I am actually wearing both today.
